The Clinical Therapist role will consist of running a full-time clinical case load with 60 minute client visits. The candidate will be required to do intakes as well as treatment of mental health disorders while coordinating care with medical professionals. This role requires competency in the following: intake assessment, diagnosis/treatment plans, rapport building and ethical use of therapeutic techniques.
Under minimal supervision of a clinically-appointed physician faculty, the Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacist will assist physicians, residents, and clinic staff in complex disease management, especially those patients taking multiple medications placing them at high risk for non-compliance, frequent emergency room and clinic visits, and hospital admissions. Develop and implement medication use policies to facilitate efficient and effective ordering, refills, medication use standards, medication improvement initiatives, and evidence-based use of medications.
Provide continuous and comprehensive services necessary for the promotion of optimal mental health, prevention and treatment of psychiatric disorders and health maintenance. This includes the assessment, diagnosis, and management of mental health problems and psychiatric disorders. The NPP works collaboratively with other on site medical and mental health providers as well as with community PCPs and school personnel.
