Overview

Central Michigan University (CMU) College of Medicine and CMU Health – an academic medical institution in Saginaw, MI – is looking for full-time BC/BE Internal Medicine to join our Faculty team.  This role includes resident and medical student education, as well as faculty clinic. 

CMU Health’s nine clinics are located in the Great Lakes Bay Region – admired for its livable communities and great quality of life. 

Responsibilities

   

This is an ambulatory Internal Medicine faculty position at the instructor or assistant professor level. Associate professor level candidates are welcome to apply as well.  Candidate will be responsible for resident precepting and faculty clinic. Additionally, medical student and resident education is expected.  CARE model to establish educational and or research allocation is commensurate with the individuals experience and skillset.   Protected time will be considered in up to a 20% allocation. Administrative duties as well as scholarly activities will be required.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • State of Michigan licensed or eligible
  • Board-eligible or certified in Internal Medicine
  • Controlled Substance license
  • Must meet credentialing criteria
  • Leadership or educational experience preferred
